About Magic Random

Magic Random is a growing set of free random generators built to do one job each, quickly, without accounts or clutter.

Why we built it

Most random-generator sites bury a one-click tool under pop-ups, sign-up walls and ads covering the button. We wanted the opposite: the tool first, a plain explanation of how it works, and nothing in the way. Each page answers the question people actually search for, then gets out of the way.

How the tools work

Every generator runs in your browser and draws its randomness from the Web Crypto API, the same source browsers use for security keys. Sampling is bias-free, so every outcome has the same chance. Most tools never send anything to our servers. The Secret Santa generator is the exception: when you choose to create private links, names are stored so each participant can open their own link, and the group is deleted 90 days after the exchange date.

Current tools

A new tool is published every Sunday. Upcoming: random word, random group, surname, fake name, Pictionary word, charades, barcode and fantasy name generators.

Who runs the site

Magic Random is published by NTech Inc Group, a small software company based in Cumming, Georgia, USA, that builds web tools and content sites. The site is supported by advertising placed outside the tool area.
